GOALS

The film follows two best friends, Charlotte and Husna, they both live in the Antwerp neighbourhood 'Luchtbal' and play together at the local soccer club. They both dream of a professional football career; who knows, they may even make it to the national team. But Charlotte's talent stands out - after the summer she will transfer to a more advanced team and then she has to go to sports boarding school. Soon Husna will have to miss her best friend; they will only be able to support each other from the sidelines. Will the girls remain #friendshipgoals?
The film was part of the Ket&Doc initiave by VAF; the Flemish Audiovisual Fund, KETNET; the public children's television channel of Flanders and JEF Film festival; the leading children's film festival of Belgium. Every year there are 5 emerging filmmakers selected into a development lab to develop and produce a documentary of 15 minutes for children.
